The Ohio Attorney General's website (http://www.ag.state.oh.us) includes a number of tips for individuals to protect their identity, and instructions as to what to do if you have been a victim of identity theft. The Passport program will provide ID theft victims with a card to prove to law enforcement and creditors that they have been a victim of ID theft. The program is limited to those who have actually been victimized, the brochure on the website more fully explains the program.
