The required search criteria must include one of the following:
Last Name and First name
The most efficient way to search for a case is by case number or ticket number.
Without a case or ticket number, search by using first name and last name to find the case.
If the minimal search above has too many results, try to provide as much information as possible to help retrieve results in a timely manner.
Including Case Year, Case Type or Party Code are easy ways to narrow your results.
You must always include a first and last name when performing a name search.
If including a middle name, try only including the first letter of the middle name; middle name is not always present on a case.
Company names may be entered in a variety of ways, try different variations to help find the information needed.
Case numbers include a year, a three letter case code, and a six digit sequence.
Example criminal/traffic case numbers:
2018 CR A 001234
2018 CR B 001234
2018 TR C 123456
2018 TR D 123456
2018 TR P 123456
Example civil case numbers:
2018 CVE 001234
2018 CVF 001234
2018 CVG 001234
Please include any letters included on the ticket number where applicable. For example: REY54321.
Date of birth
Submit date of birth search as MM/DD/YYYY
Do not use hypens/dashes - use a forward slash / to separate month/day/year.
Most cases fall into either open or closed. Although a case status may be closed, it does not mean the case is completed or adjudicated.
